The houses on the villa Seurat (named after the painter, Georges Seurat) were built in the 1920s and were designed for a community of artists. Many were designed by the architect, André Lurçat who was a member of the Modern Movement along with Le Corbusier and others.

Located on the corner of square de Montsouris and avenue Reille, this building was the home and studio of the painter, Amédée Ozenfant. Architect: Le Corbusier, 1922.
Photo taken from the Fondation Le Corbusier website. It's such a special building and my photos were not as good.
This is the Gaut house, located at 2 square de Montsouris. As long as I've known this house (30-40 years), it's been covered in ivy. Recently the ivy has been removed. Now the facade is dark and needs to be restored.
Architects: the Perret brothers, 1923. Interestingly, the project had originally been given to Le Corbusier.
